Golden Pond RV Resort is a campsite / RV park located in Mossley.

Enjoy great family camping. With a total of 270 sites, almost all sites have water/hydro/sewer (telephone and natural gas is available in certain sections). There are many different sites to choose from including pull-thru sites, shaded sites, a tent area and sites close to the playground. There’s also a beautiful cabin for rent (with a full bathroom, refrigerator, microwave, two bedrooms and satellite TV). We are now featuring our new “E” section that is geared for snowbirds that require an extended season, making Golden Pond RV Resort their Summer home. We have something for everyone and we are open year round.

The campsights are VERY small. It was $45 for a campsite and then our daughter, hubby and daughter came to spend overnite one nite with their tent. They were allowed to pitch their tent on our sight, BUT was $20 extra. So, for this one tiny campsite, they took in $65 + tax. Seems ridiculous. When we checked in, the receptionist told us how to connect to WiFi, but neglected to say it was an additional $3, as we wondered why we couldn't hook in to it. We had just come back from two trips to the U.S. and down there the sites are twice as large, with free wifi, and they bend over backwards to be helpful down there.

Positives: Location was 1/4 mile from the 401 which was handy and only 10 mins. or so from Ingersoll, where we attended a function

Negatives: Tiny campsites and expensive.
Had to buy a special adapter for $15. to hook in to the sewage line. NEVER needed that before.
