Had a very comfortable, enjoyable 5-night stay at Glenwood Cottages and Marina. Cottage was clean, view of lake was spectacular, and hosts were very friendly and accommodating. The rental boat was a well looked after, 14ft aluminum with a 9.9 Merc engine it was very ample for our purpose which was fishing. we fished 4 days and caught fish every day including a 21inch Small Mouth Bass that weighed 5 lb. plus.
It was a very relaxing mii holiday and we told Rudy and Corine, that we will be back.

Positives: Clean Cottage, Great View, Clean well-kept boat & motor, only 3.5 hours from home, Rudy and family were very friendly, and made you feel very welcome and attended our needs. good fishing

Negatives: Never realized that we could have recycled glass, plastic etc. until we were leaving. (took our recyclable's home with us).
An in cottage list of dos and don'ts would help first time guests.

We rented a cottage on the lake, but it didn’t have a boat launch. The owner of the cottage told me to contact Glenwood for use of their launch (only $10), and I am sure glad I did. I was a little nervous launching the boat as it was loaned to me by a close friend. When I contacted Sandra and explained the situation, she promptly confirmed the owner (Rudy) would help me get the boat in no issues. This went flawlessly thanks to Rudy. At the end of the week, he helped me get the boat out and onto the trailer like a pro - would have taken me many attempts without Rudy. Truly wonderful people running this beautiful Marina and cottage rental facility. We took the kids there for ice cream, we got our marina gas there (high quality by the way), we got ice there, and worms for fishing - but beyond all of this - did I mention wonderful, pleasant and customer oriented family run business. Thank you so much Rudy, Sandra and Rudy’s daughter for all of your amazing help. We look forward to coming back and renting one of your beautiful cottages! Wishing you the very best. Thank you!! Family owned and operated., all family members go the extra mile to ensure a great holiday. Laze the day away or rent a boat and sightsee or fish. The marina has fuel and the marina office has ice cream.

Positives: Beautiful Lake setting with a beach for sunning, swimming and relaxation.
The family members are friendly and are very prompt in assisting you , camaraderie and customer service is their aim towards their guests. New pirate ship and playground for the youngsters. If you have extra energy try the volleyball court

Negatives: A negative is if you leave your booking to the last moment, there might not be any vacancies. We were lucky.
