Glen Allan Park

This park has been around for decades. Since the new younger ownership took over a few years ago, this once beautiful place has gone down drastically. Not only are they kicking out people over petty circumstances they are also double dipping on park fees and service costs. They are completely price gouging their long time (decades) customers. They have now implemented a rule where family members over 18 have to pay 60% of the park fees plus electricity that their parents already pay for. Glen Allen Park is not a family park. It’s a personal piggy bank to the young owners with zero business etiquette or people skills. The people deserve better.

Came to Glen Allen about 17 years ago. No plans on leaving.

I really don’t want to be charged with slander or defamation. So I will be real careful to say the truth so help me god!
There is so much false advertising.
The staff is not friendly. They don’t ever talk to you. They do not make any accommodations for any disabled person. They evict people for trying to get a place to keep a walker out of the way to help with entering the water, reason terrified of falling They watch you but don’t talk to you. They offer the park people nothing accept the fathers band to which we had to pay $10.00 and they wanted to do $15.00.each person. There are no washrooms open and the one without being locked is so dangerous the kids all play in it.
Tables at the beach are disgusting and have nails and screws up. Geese turn the beach green Yuk.
How much more you say. MORE!
Bills are outrageous Money grabbers
Campers supply money for prizes re: fishing derby, horse shoes, kids games, pizza day well anything really. They won’t contribute anything. Hospitality : NONE

Positives: The beach and water are beautiful. Most campers are really nice.
We had made our own fun.

Negatives: What can I say but ALL negative.
Long gone are the positives of 2009 and 2011.

Beautiful Spacious Park- now we don't want to take our RV anywhere else.

Positives: The Beach!!! Large park with room to walk, bike and roam...kids loved it and so did we. Very clean.

Rented cottage at Glen Allan park on Crowe Lake in Marmora, Ontario for my family. I was amazed at the natural beauty of the park and spacious grounds. We spent time biking, swimming and just down low relaxing.

Positives: Grounds themselves - Cleanliness of the cottage and park
cottage was spacious and had a huge veranda - BBQ - everything we needed. Other visitors there were friendly and open. Staff was great.

Negatives: not a one.
