Thoroughly enjoyed our stay in this picturesque setting with charming and hospitable hosts.

Positives: Beautiful property on the river. Hosts were helpful and we thoroughly enjoyed their company. Breakfast was delicious and attractively served.

My husband and I have just completed, by motorized canoe, travelling the Rideau Canal System from Kingston Mills. We camped most of the way and decided to spend one night at a B&B in Manotick before heading back home. John and Heather did a wonderful job of providing everything we needed to make for a comfortable and stress-free visit. John picked us up at the Long Island lock station where our things were left overnight, took us into town for dinner (at a spot he recommended) and picked us up again afterwards. In the morning, after a relaxing and delicious breakfast, he helped us load everything up, tied the canoe on his van and drove us back to our entry point in Kingston Mills. Staying with John and Heather was a pleasure as they were most accommodating and very helpful to us.

Positives: John and Heather are very helpful with transportation - ideal for canoeists/boaters. Lovely premises and grounds. Healthful homecooked breakfast.

Heather & John are the perfect hosts. We srrived on Wednesday afternoon and were welcomed as if we had known each other for years. The breakfasts prepared by John were delicious and plentiful The property is beautifully landscaped and very quiet. I would recommend this B & B to anyone looking for a pleasant stopover in the Ottawa area.

Positives: The room was immaculate as were the entire premises. A binder in the room provided information about the B & B as well as details of points of interest in the area.

Negatives: None whatsoever.
