South Shore Cottages is a seasonal resort located on the sandy shores of Lake St. Peter.

Our rental cottages are located 30 minutes north of Bancroft, just 25 minutes from Algonquin Park’s East Gate. Accommodations include five, fully equipped, two and three bedroom cottages with 500′ of beautiful shoreline and sandy beach.

Our resort is the perfect location for a family getaway, special anniversary or just time away from the city lights!

We offer activities for all four seasons with access to hundreds of miles of trails for motor sports, ATV’s, side-by-sides, cross country skiing, snow shoeing, sledding or a stroll in the picturesque north. Water activities include paddle boat, stand up paddle boards, kayak and canoeing. Enjoy our immaculate beach with a secure and safe swimming area or you can just relax on the beautiful sandy shoreline. We are located on the OFSC trail system and also offer ice hut rentals for those avid fishermen that can’t wait until the summer.

Nearby restaurants include Porterville Diner, Jc’s Smokehouse, and Honeydoo's Cafe.
