This is my home-away-from-home when I stay in Kitchener for business (three times a year). The house is immaculate and beautifully decorated, with rooms designed to provide the ease and comfort every traveler hopes for but rarely finds. And the breakfast - ! Generous, quintessentially Irish in character, fabulous quality of ingredients, with wonderful variety for those staying on an extended trip.

Derek and Margaret Bermingham, the owners, are delightful and warm people who genuinely enjoy the folks who cross their threshhold, and are always available to help with anything that you need to make your trip easier, more fun or less stressful

I travel 40 weekends a year, coast to coast in the States and a dozen times a year in Ontario -- and I must stay that my Kitchener trips are my favorites, primarily because I get to stay at the Claddagh House.
