We, in anticipation of a future visit of two different parties of friends, ate in the dining room and saw their selection of standard and deluxe cottages. All were in excellent condition on the waterfront of Rice Lake. All had kitchen facilities and fireplaces [real wood burning ones!]The resort has all the faciities including a seaplane base and an airstrip! We ate in the Hearthside Dining Room and had a very good 4 Star meal that was well presented and prepared. There is a nice pub on the premises. And a heated pool. We have no trouble recommending this resort.

Additional details

Our self catering cottages are located on the waterfront, with a scenic view. All cottages feature a fully equipped kitchen with microwave oven, dishes and cooking utensils, toaster, automatic coffee maker, fridge and stove. Wood burning, open hearth fireplaces (wood provided), colour television and VCR, CD stereo player and telephone with modem located in each living room. Bedding and towels supplied. Sofa bed in most units. Each deck has a gas barbecue, patio furniture, picnic table on the lawn and private dock. Parking is adjacent to each unit.

Cozy units with 2 or 3 bedrooms and one washroom, located on the lake. Newly renovated with dishwashers and whirlpool tubs. Ideal for 2-6 adults

Larger units, some with sunken living room. Sliding glass doors to outdoor deck, 1-5 bedroom cottages, one or two washrooms and/or whirlpool bath. Ideal for groups or families sharing accommodation. 5 bedroom cottage located in the heart of the resort, near playground, all others lakeside.
