Ste. Annes Country Inn & Spa is a bed & breakfast located in Grafton.

Originally built in 1857, this fieldstone "country castle" is nestled in the scenic hills of Northumberland County, and was at one time used as a summer retreat for wealthy Americans. The building was lovingly restored in 1981, such that rest, peace and tranquility are now found in a luxurious but comfortable ambience.

Our inn overlooks 250 hectares (560 acres) of lush meadow and forest, and has a spectacular view of Lake Ontario.

This beautiful fieldstone castle is home to bedroom suites, healing treatment rooms, dining and reading rooms as well as comfortable private areas for socializing and relaxing. Ste. Anne's echoes the natural beauty of the landscape and invites you to breathe deeply and linger over every minute of precious personal time.

We have 10 guest rooms in the inn, each one beautifully appointed and furnished with antiques. Each has a fireplace and private bath and whirlpool.

Our rooms are bright and airy, and several have magnificent views. Each room has a unique feature, such as a sleigh bed or canopy bed, a sitting room, or a soaking tub. Some of our rooms have private entrances. Off site, but near to the inn are seven cottages. Each is unique, and has a private bathroom and a fireplace; some of the cottages have several bedrooms.

The Cathedral Suite - Superior - Located on the second floor of the East Wing, with two antique double beds and a cosy sitting area. Whirlpool tub and woodburning fireplace. Views are to the north, south and east. This room adjoins the Games Room via a spiral staircase.

The Dolls' House - Superior - Located right next to the main building, this stone cottage is a lovely little retreat. Close to everything, but far enough away to afford a little privacy. There is two twin beds that can be made into a king in the loft, and two twin beds that can be made into a king in a private lower level bedroom, and two full bathrooms, both with whirlpool tubs

The East Suite - Superior - Located on the ground floor of the East Wing, furnished with a king size bed, and a 3/4 bed, private bath, with views to the north, south and east. Features a private exterior entrance and cathedral ceiling. Adjoins the Games Room.

The Wicker Room - Superior - Located on the second floor, this bright, airy room faces north & south. Furnished with a queen size bed and a single bed, and a private bath.

The Games Suite - Superior - Located on the ground floor with an exterior entrance from central archway. Twin sleigh beds can be made into a king size bed. Whirlpool tub. Views through bay windows to the north and south. Adjoins the Cathedral or the East Suite. Woodburning fireplace

The Blue Room - Deluxe - Located on the second floor of the original Massey home, this room has a queen size bed and private bath. The view is to the west, overlooking the main entrance.

The Canopy Room - Deluxe - Located on the second floor, this room has a view to the south, towards Lake Ontario. A queen size canopy bed gave this room its name. Private bath.

The Flower Room - Deluxe - On the second floor of the original Massey home, this room contains two carved double beds, private bath. The view is to the east, overlooking the courtyard.

The Garden Room - Deluxe - A cosy room centrally located, on the ground floor, with French doors exiting north to the courtyard, this room has a queen size bed. Features a second fireplace in the bathroom.

The Parlour Room - Deluxe - Centrally located on the ground floor, the Parlour Room contains two twin beds that can be made into a king, and private bath. Features walkout French doors into the north courtyard, with windows to the west.
