This campground is less than 2 km from Calypso (largest water park in Canada). It is clean, quiet and well organised. Mostly seasonal guests. Only a few spots for occasional visitors. They also have a large heated pool. However, it is expensive for what you get. They will also charge you 10$ if you leave passed the check-out time (noon). In fact, they take it as a deposit when you arrive so leave on time or you don't get it back! They also lock the sanitary blocs so you need to give 20$ deposit for the keys. Overall, a enjoyable campground but on the expensive side... We go solely because it is the nearest to the water park. Others are much farther.
Positives: Clean, Friendly staff, Heated pool, large artificial lake/beach.
Negatives: Expensive, Leaving Late fees, deposits for bathrooms.

The place is clean and they have nice pools and hot tubs.
After writing all this negative I looked at the guidelines and I guess that we can't write anything negative to warn the people so what's the use.
It's like the BBB they get away with everything.
Positives: Hard to find anything positive except for The place is clean and they have nice pools and hot tubs and people camping are nice.
Negatives: The owners don't have any professional ways. They yell at kids instead of calmly talk to their parents and explain the issue. It might be a stress full job but if they can't do it then sell the place to real people. They rely on the committee to do everything when they should do there share. Then the committee is not much better it's pretty much me myself and I.Someone once said that they make money on the side to pay for their seasonal lot.
I've been a seasonal for 5 yrs and I've seen enough. This is my last year and will not recommend it to anyone.
The price is also too expensive and noticed that they are losing more and more clients.
Most security people are on every ones case for no reason.
Most people no the rules and respect them so why are they so annoying probably because the owners are rubbing off them.

Close to the highway, easy to access. There is a store close and a Country Style at the gas station. The grounds are very large and most of the lots are very spacious.
I am a seasonal lot owner/renter for a few years running.
Positives: The pool and the hot tub are great but the PEOPLE are the best. The volunteer group runs great activities for the kids and the park has been updated. Night time fires are excellent. Kids are safe and can run and play at the park and anything they want.
Negatives: The pool is not open as much as it should be because of lifeguard issues. It opens on Fridays at 4pm for the weekend but is closed the rest of the week until school finishes.
The cost is high for the seasonal lots.
