This is a fairly new park not well known as yet. It caters to trailers, mostly seasonal and a long season it has too from mid April to end of October. Perfert for snowbirds. Its quiet, well maintained and helpful, friendly and attentive staff. The park puts on a pig roast Sunday of long weekends which everyone contibutes to and a fun time with lots of a varitey to eat, good company and friendly atmosphere. All are welcome to join. It is still developing its marina but the location is great. Nice clean and refreshing pool open all day every day till dusk and an available waterslide used mostly by the kids at specified times weekends and upon request and available monitors weekdays. The park has its rules and everyone is subject to uphold the rules, no exceptions, which is nice as there is no favouritism. There is a play area for the kids, horeshoe pits and lots of open space for families to walk, fish or play games. The rates are resonable and they don't nickle and dime you to death.
Positives: shopping and groceries close by
plenty of activities available in the area
Quiet park
Negatives: fire bans

If you enjoy being treated like you're in jail, this is the place for you. From the minute we arrived, we were under the scrutiny of staff who clearly do not welcome the business of an average family with children. "A Developing Resort" refers to an open field with a few saplings planted. A construction site and road with an airport make up the ambiance. All previous reviews are echoed. The beach on Lake Erie that is the only escape close by is a "bloated dead fish cemetary". Not only are visitors welcomed by a set of rules (which we don't dispute), but beware of the ad-hoc "new rules" that are enforced whenever the "golf cart" gets bored and feels like interupting any enjoyment you might be experiencing.
It is pure torture on a family to go to this park that boasts a waterslide which is not open, a pool that is too cold for any one on even the hottest day of the year, sewage pipes for your neighbour's sight located under your picnic table, sites so close together you can't extend an awning, fire pits that must be covered with a cage ( so you can't roast a marshmallow), don't think of moving your trailer to maximize the tiny space you have as you will be asked to move it, several times.
It is perfectly obvious that seasonal visitors are not asked to follow any rules, and simply enjoy the entertainment of unfortunate weekenders being subjected to an experience they will never repeat.

There a serious lack of trees and no shade to found anywhere near the camp sites. The sewer hook ups for the trailer beside you is in your lawn area.
The view of the river is blocked by all the construction equipment and piles of construction material.
Pool is not heated and is freezing cold. The water slide is 1 or 2 times a day for 30min at the mangers discretion.
Upon arriving make sure that you read all 32 rules, because the manager drives around on her golf cart looking for offenders. Some of the gems that we learnt the hard way were; you can’t hang lines to dry clothing, you need to take down the kids sleep pop tent down every morning and put it back up at 6:30 PM, you need to move your trailer over 2 feet because it’s not on the gavel pad.
Positives: The is a water slide.
Negatives: The water slide is never on.

The campground doesnt have much to offer Most times pool is either closed or broken There are no activities to do you have to make your own activities.
There are too many rules each day that are always changing
Toilets are only 2 and they are the most disgusting ive ever seen wonder its even allowed
There is no full service marina which they state in their website Nothing for kids to do once they finish playing on a couple of swings and slide for pool is only open less times then the pool itself.
If your are someone that wants to go somewhere and spend your time in your trailer and retired then this is the place for you
