No improvements in 10 years. Washrooms/Showers are half finished, as they have been for 10 years. Very few activities. No activities are posted…just a guessing game. No laundry facilities - they removed them. Pool is dirty - never cleaned. They use the pool area as storage area including power saws etc. Where children can get hurt. You can never find anyone in the restaurant/office. Go up there several times and can’t find anyone-no phone number to contact them. The “store” was their restaurant which isn’t being run anymore. They don’t sell ice or anything you would want in a store - just popsicles…no milk, butter, bread. The owner is miserable. Absolutely not a people person! The firewood he sells is what he cut down that was mandated for removal for ash borer…its garbage wood. Birch Bark is overall a terrible camp ground!

Positives: Location is good, Minutes from Grand Bend. Shopping is in Grand Bend or Exeter. Playground equipment was replaced last year.

Negatives: pool is dirty, used as storage area for power tools. Washrooms and showers dirty and half renovated…usually out of toilet paper and hand soap. Emergency exit in pool area is blocked off. No laundry facility. No store-only sells popsicles No ice. Owner is miserable - not a people person. Very little activities. When there is activities are not posted anywhere or even emailed to you.

The owners and staff running this park are arrogant and always looking over you to see what your are up to. The owner sneeks around in the late hours hiding behind trees and trailer for the purpose of who knows.

Positives: Enclosed heated pool is nice, sites are a decent size

Negatives: Staff unfriendly.... advertised as having things such a payphone, wheel chair access, store , laundry, restaurant. Washrooms/Showers are dirty and run down. Restaurant is open only 2 nights, no payphone, no store, wheel chair access is to restuarant and restuarant washrooms only doesn't do much good when it's closed. Laundry is dirty, small outdoor area between the men a womans washrooms
