We were just passing thru Collingwood and just needed a place to stay for the night.We came upon the Inn and there was a restaurant almost next door so we decided to give it a try.The lobby is kinda dark and old..out dated but the friendly staff soon made that seem minor.The room was very neat and clean and the price was right. The staff went out of their way to make our stay comfortable. Being off season for the area, everything was pretty quiet and the grounds around the Inn look a little run down. The way we were treated and the clean , comfortable room will definitely bring us back if we are in the area again.

We were stuck in Collingwood due to road closures and came across the Heidelberg Inn. You may be put off by the clutter of the lobby when first entering, it also needs updating, however the man at reception was so kind and accomodating, we decided that it would be fine for us. We were in for a very pleasant surprise when entering the rooms, while very basic, they had what we needed and were very clean and cozy. There is a fridge in the room and a microwave and kettle in the lobby.

Positives: Night staff called us to make sure we had everything we needed.
