First off most important very close to sandbanks beach (sand beach) & point petre beach (rock beach) private beach Both less then 10 minutes away from sunset shores..... amazing sunset sets on the lake for couples or couples who rents the cottages on the lake front
Positives: Fair price, amazing sunset, boat launch area, big swimming area, big fishing area along the rocks, friendly people and management.... back roads/trails for riding ATVs or dirty bikes,
Negatives: A little out dated in same areas but that’s not even an issue imagination is key to enjoying peaceful relaxing out doors

Sunset Shores is a beautiful clean quiet campgound and is only 5 minutes to the Sandbanks Provincial Park.
We stayed at the campground at night and went to the Sandbanks in the daytime. It was the perfect location!
We also went swimming in the lake at the campgrounds.
The lake is called East Lake and it is very warm and clean.
It has a rocky shore so we wore our swim fins in so it wasn't an issue. Hot showers and washrooms.Perfect for families.
We would definitely stay here again.
Positives: Very close to Sandbanks Provincial Park Clean, quiet, well kept, every campsite has a fire ring, picnic tables, there is a shady tree area for camping , hot showers and washrooms. Very family oriented.
Swimming in a warm lake and games like horse shoes.
Negatives: Rocky shore- should bring water shoes.
