We had to pay for three sites, because everyone in our group was over 16, the cost was almost $300 for 2 nights, but they will not hold or reserve any sites for you. We were allocated to the sites at the lake, where there are no amenities, but that is okay however, the portable outhouses were absolutely disgusting.. there was waste almost up to the seat in each one... someone had allowed their child to defacate in the urinal...the smell was unbelievable, the sites were not marked at all and very few trees or shelter...we actually punctured a tire on our truck with a broken off tent peg that we tried to remove but could not...was not at all a pleasant experience and this is my second time there...would not go back nor will I go camping anytime soon it has turned me off of the whole experience.

Positives: The views are beautiful and the lake grand.

Negatives: Dirty outhouses, poorly kept and marked sites, overly expensive. Will not go back

We have stayed at this park every year for the last 10 plus, so many I have forgotten. We have never had a bad experience. If you are going to go on a long weekend, when the people move in to party, then you need to expect the porta potties to be a bit full, so on. But as soon as they can they have everything cleaned right up. I can't hold a park responsible for people that are just plan dirty, they are on the ball doing the best to clean up after these people. Once the long weekend is over, quiet, and orderly. We will continue to go back each year.
