Lindsay is a town on the Scugog River in the Kawartha Lakes region of south-eastern Ontario. It is approximately 43 km west of Peterborough. It is the seat of the City of Kawartha Lakes, and the hub for business and commerce in the region. Located at 282 Lindsay St South. Lindsay Golf and Country Club course is recognized as one of the finest championship courses in the Kawartha’s. The architect, Graham Cooke, designed a layout that seamlessly blends parkland holes with traditional links. The golf course features rolling fairways and small, fast greens that demand accuracy. There are several sand traps strategically placed around the greens and water comes into play on half of the holes in the form of small and large ponds.
