Overall it was not a very pleasant experience. We were put right in the middle if all the seasonal campers and felt like we were infringing on them the entire time. Although some of the staff managed to smile, many of them had a sour look on their face all the time, no waves, good mornings, etc from them. The facilities close early and they cater to the retirement and full time campers. You really do feel like you are infringing. The kids were standing over by the fence inside the pool area and were yelled at by the lifeguard since it was adult swim. They were just waiting for us to have a quick swim, totally unnecessary. Pretty disappointing experience overall and wouldn't return if it was free.
Positives: Easy to book.
Negatives: Expensive, staff is young, staff is unfriendly, cramped sites one on top of each other, scaled back times during the week for certain activities...

Way too expensive for all the rules. At a resort, one would expect the activities to be usable past 800pm. Kids are unable to play at the bike park past dusk, when the sign says it closes at 10pm and has a light that will not turn on past closing time. When I attend a resort, I expect not to be charged more when I use the facilities. Golfing, taking a shower, driving range, should not be extra. The word resort comes with high expectations, and Happy Hills falls short of that.

I'm disappointed to see the comments regarding the "extra charges"! How many campgrounds have a golf course, driving range, petting zoo, mini golf, ball hockey rink, shuffleboard, bike ramps, basketball, tennis and volley ball courts, great play grounds, pool, hot tubs and wading pool, free twice daily wagon rides, soccar field, snack shop and store, drive in movies and daily kid's activities??? I mean, c'mon!! Clean, family style camping, family operated with nice wash rooms and the park is beautiful.
