Bengough is a town in the rural municipality of Bengough #40, in Saskatchewan. The name Bengough was named after the famous cartoonist John Wilson Bengough. Bengough also plays host to the Gateway Festival which showcases several top notch musicians and several other events through the weekend. It usually takes place in late July. Recreational activities available in and around town include hunting, snowmobiling, hiking, curling, hockey, golf and more. Local restaurants include Bengough Cafe.
