Parkhill is located to the South East of Lake Huron, and is just under an hours drive from London, Ontario. The town was formed in 1859 following the completion of the Grand Trunk Railway line from St. Mary's to Sarnia. The following year the first Post Office and store were opened at the present site of Parkhill.
