Guelph is a city in Southwestern Ontario. Known as "The Royal City" it was founded in 1827 by John Galt of the Canada Company. The city is roughly 28 kilometres east of Kitchener-Waterloo and 100 kilometres west of downtown Toronto at the intersection of Highway 6 and Highway 7.
