Mountain Gap Inn Dining Room ( Dining / Family ). Located at 217 Highway #1, Smith's Cove. "A little rustic village for you and your family." The Mountain Gap Inn's 40 acre property is nestled on the shore of the Tidal Annapolis Basin with a pebble beach and a nature trail for walking. Different flowers bloom throughout the summer for the guests to enjoy as well as beautiful sunsets can be seen. It is a great place for relaxing and enjoying the outdoors including a giant chess board, outdoor pool, a children's playground and a bon fire pit. The restaurant is open for breakfast and dinner from June to mid-October and is closed on Monday evenings. The rustic feel stretches from the guestrooms to the dining room and pictures can be found across the property from various times of the resort that was founded in 1915. The welcoming staff is happy to tell you about the area and help you to find things to do.
