Anderson ( Art & Culture / Art Galleries ). Located at 160 Montague, Lunenburg. Anderson is a commercial gallery specialised in contemporary photography. The gallery represents a changing group of photographers from Nova Scotia and beyond.
The objective of anderson is to celebrate the photographic image and the art of photography in all its forms and appearances. In addition to the photographic exhibits, the gallery space is used for book launches - often in combination with exhibits - readings, lectures and other events with a relation to photography.

We have over 60 years of artistic collaboration with Inuit as family, the most recent 20 years as the Houston North Gallery. Now, our virtual gallery is part of our ongoing effort to bring Inuit art to the rest of the world.
The Houston North Virtual Gallery features the highest quality images of Inuit sculpture and Inuit art prints, bringing the original works of the Inuit people ( also known as Canadian Eskimo ) to a wider audience. Works of Inuit art, from the communities of Cape Dorset, Baker Lake, Spence Bay, Inukjuak and many more, are featured in the gallery, where you will find both Inuit Sculpture in stone and other mediums, as well as a large selection Inuit Art Prints.

Bluenose Lodge Casual Dining ( Dining / Family ). Located at 10 Falkland Street, Lunenburg. Hospitality of yesteryear abounds throughout this tastefully restored Victorian Inn (circa 1863.) The house was originally built as a single family dwelling for prominent sea merchant/builders. In 1946, the home was converted to a Lodge and has been enjoyed by the public ever since.
We have a full wine, beer and cocktail menu, large dining room and parlour. Facilities available for weddings, banquets. A noted Lunenburg landmark. CAA and AAA approved.
Seasonal operation from May 1 to Oct 31. Closed November, open in December for private functions only. Hours of operation: Tuesday to Saturday - 5 to 9pm. Mid June to Mid September, open 7 nights per week.
We are kid friendly and can accommodate high chairs and booster seated little ones, plus we have a great childrens menu.
