I love taking my dog there there is plenty of room for my dog to run, swim, and a lot of walking trails. kids can bring bikes and play on the playground and the park is always clean! Down-home cooking, locally grown food, home cooked on site. the carrots tasted fresh-picked, the steak was excellent, and the apple crisp was to die for. Nothing "fancy", just great food and lots of it! The portions are huge.(By the way, apple crisp with ice .....

Avon River Heritage Museum

Located at 17 Belmont Road. Our museum features exhibits on the New England Planters, local house histories, family histories as well as Avon River ecology, and geology. Our guides and volunteers are ready to answer any questions you may have. If you’re hungry for more than history, relax and enjoy a scenic lunch overlooking the Avon River at our Café. Souvenirs and locally-handcrafted gifts are available from our SeaChest Giftshop. If you time it right, you can also watch the Minas Basin tidal bore from the highest tides in the world, the Bay of Fundy.
