We just returned home from an enjoyable visit to Newfoundland. The first 8 days were spent touring the island and the last 5 were spend in St. John's on business. This was our first experience with B&B's and I'm happy to report we will be doing B&B's regularly from now on.
We found that Toulinquet Inn B&B was our most expensive one at $80.00 per night. No doubt this is because it is in Twillingate. Unfortunately, in comparison with the other B&B's we stayed at during our week, the breakfast was very rationed. As stated in the guidebook, there was homemade jam, muffins and bread. Along with cereal, juice and coffee one muffin and 1/2 piece of toast was allotted for each of the 6 people at the breakfast table. I believe that a serving of toast is normally 2 pieces per person. We felt that we were eating the owner out of house and home.
