Englee is a small picturesque fishing community on the east side of the Great Northern Peninsula at the end of Route 433 in a sheltered harbour on the northern headland of Canada Bay. It has a quiet harbor, protected from the Atlantic Ocean by the magnificent Barr’d Island. Englee offers a fantastic view of the ocean where, on any given day, whales can be seen frolicking at the mouth of the harbor and in Spring & Summer icebergs can be seen close to shore and can easily be visited by boat. Places to eat in the region include Cross Rocks Cafe, and Greco Pizza.
