The Lakeside at Thorburn is a motel located in Clarenville.

We offer accommodations in our newly renovated 10-room motel with efficiency units and many amenities. If you prefer the outdoors, you might enjoy our beautiful semi-serviced campgrounds on the lake. For those of you who love to camp but do not have a trailer, keep an eye for our quaint bunk houses. We also offer a 12 bunk loft, providing a great option for sports teams, groups, birthday parties and more.

Enjoy a run on our go-cart track, soak in the hot tub, relax on the beach or play on the lake. Our pool, boat rentals, water skiing and many sports games can also bring your hours of fun. Looking for winter adventure? Join us for a guided snow mobile tour, strap on some snow shoes or try your luck with some ice fishing. Sliding and ice skating are great options for the kids, and for those of you with a big kid inside.

First and last visit to this 'resort'.

Positives: New Fresh Look and feel. Hot tub, Flat screen Satellite TV

Negatives: Walls are thin, Water in Shower fluctuates drastically between Cold and scalding hot. Beds are uncomfortable and children run up and down at all hours: early morning and late evening
