Central New Brunswick Woodmen's Museum

Located at 6342 Route 8. Authentic tools, documents and photographs, a rebuilt trapper's cabin, man-made lake, woods, trails and examples of machinery help to make vivid the saga of the deep woods and chart the course of local history to the present day.

Atlantic Salmon Museum

Located at 263 Main Street. Explore the virtual world of the Atlantic salmon, the king of sport fish, here on the banks of the beautiful Miramichi River. You'll learn all about this important resource and amazing fish - the Atlantic salmon. There are many examples of artificial flies; fishing rods made out of wood, bamboo and carbon filament; accessories and clothing worn by fishermen throughout the years. Check out the Salmon Hall of Fame as well as the Print Gallery which includes signed, numbered prints available for sale. The Miramichi River is a favourite subject for both local and world-knowned artists.
