Cibo Waterfront Cafe ( Dining / Other ). Located at 339 Waterfront Drive, Winnipeg. We are located in a repurposed industrial building on the bank of the Historic Red River. For much of the 20th Century, the “Pump and Screen House” building, provided water coolant to Winnipeg’s Downtown Steam Heating Plant. High ceilings, massive windows, industrial masonry, simple lighting, warm furnishings and urban riverfront views all create the setting for a special dining experience.

James Avenue Pumphouse ( / Tapas ). Built in 1906 to help fight the frequent fires of downtown Winnipeg, the James Avenue Pumping Station drew water from the Red River for distribution to the area’s fire hydrants. The building was declared a municipal heritage site in 1982.
