Breton is a village in central Alberta. It is located southwest of Edmonton. Originally called Keystone, it was established in 1909 by a group of African-American immigrants as a block settlement. The town is named after former Alberta MLA Douglas Breton. Local restaurants include Breton Family Dining, Salt ‘n Pepper Restaurant & Lounge, The Bake Shop, and Warburg Corner Restaurant.
