My wife & I found this place to be typical of seventies-era hotels with a small bedroom and small bathroom though it was clean & well-maintained. The staff are very friendly. The hot breakfast was ok. The hotel itself is within easy reach of all the downtown attractions.

Overall, good stay, had trouble with air conditioning and it was really hot outside!

Positives: Close to downtown area.

Negatives: Stayed in a building across the street from the main hotel.

Good value for money, great location, friendly and helpful staff. No extra fees for internet, parking, etc, like most downtown properties, although parking is outdoor. I would definitely use again.

Positives: Staff was very friendly and helpful. Facility was good value for price. Internet access was readily available at no cost. Central location, downtown.

Negatives: Complimentary breakfast was minimal and boring after first day. Should add some variety, yogurt, granola.

Free parking is nice and pool is there to use, but it was dirty.

Positives: Was able to change smoking to non smoking room, friendly staff.

Negatives: Pool was dirty with no towels, would rather stay in a motel in PEI over this place.

The Best Western Charlottetown has all the basic amenities that a traveler needs. Rooms are clean and each include coffee and tea. Staff was friendly. When our coffee maker broke down, the maintenance was very quick in bringing up a replacement to our room. Free internet is available in the lobby. The hotel also has a restaurant, but unfortunately we didn't get a chance to try it.

Positives: The location is great. Shops and attractions are located within walking distance.

Negatives: The locker room facilities in the pool area could use some improvement.
