Good – Clean and good location. Bad - Ventilation system sounds like a leaf blower. I've stayed in three different rooms and it's always the same. You can not sleep with the air conditioning or heat on. The rooms are small, invite two friends for conversation and two of you will be sitting on the bed. There is no movie selection and no mini-bar.

Positives: Clean

Negatives: Ventilation system sounds like a leaf blower, you can not sleep with it on. No movie selection. No mini-bar.

I've been a fan of Marriott hotels for a long time, and this one does not disappoint. Good amenities, quiet and comfortable rooms makes this an excellent choice for business and leisure travelers. The restaurant was amazingly good -- my husband had the prime rib special, and he said it was the best he had ever had. This convenient location makes it an easy walk to Gastown & Chinatown. Stanley Park is a short drive away.

Positives: Attractive, convenient hotel with an amazing restaurant. Excellent staff.

Negatives: Price of overnight parking is high, but typical for the area. Free WiFi was doled out 1 hour at

Would not consider this hotel a 4 star. 3 and one half at best. You may not get the room type you had booked.

Positives: Location, cleanliness.

Negatives: Using Priceline did not qualify for continental breakfast nor morning paper at door.

Room was attractive and very comfortable. Hotel restaurant was nice and reasonably priced for a business hotel restaurant. Pool area was nice (although water was a little cold). Staffing was generally great and very friendly, especially at the door and in the restaurant.

Positives: Most of the staff was very friendly and helpful.

Negatives: Pool water was not warm enough.

Located in downtown Vancouver, steps away from upscale shopping and dining, blocks from Roger's Place (hockey etc.) and BC Place, and a short cab or bus ride from Stanly Park. The lobby is beautiful, with very helpful and polite staff. Parking was secure and reasonable. The rooms, although not large, had everything you would need, and were nicely appointed. The bathroom had a full tub as well as a stand alone shower. Room service was prompt and good. There are only good things to say about this place.

Positives: Everything I needed was there, awesome fitness room, great pool/hot tub/sauna/steam room.

Negatives: Bed was a bit firm for my liking, and hot tub wasn't as warm as I would like (around 98F).

A very good place to stay in Vancouver.

Positives: Great treatment from staff, really clean room, a great hotel in a excellent location.

Negatives: Parking charges, just park on the street, it is free after 10pm until 9 am.

Seems the same as other Marriott's. My husband was a little turned off by the dirty shower in our room and the fact that when my husband went downstairs to ask the Concierge desk a question about the area he was basically told to look on line. We were surprised when we had to call the front desk for another robe as they said it was standard to for each room to come with one. That seemed kind off strange, but they happily brought us another one. The view from our room was incredible and we loved that we had the full glass windows all around us.

Positives: The view and location was incredible!

Negatives: The dirty shower was a total turn off.

We arrived early after getting off the cruise ship and expected not to be able to check in, but were amazed to find our room ready. The friendly staff was efficient and treated us like any other guests. Our large stylish room looked new. At check-in we were given the option to upgrade to a room with a harbor view which we declined.

Positives: The room was large, and the staff friendly.

Negatives: The pool facilities were small and lackluster. Little outdoor space for sitting.

Great stay, very nice rooms and lovely view. The staff was helpful in getting us a room with two beds and the pool area was empty (a plus for me).

Positives: Front desk staff was very helpful.

Negatives: Parking on your own is cheaper than parking in hotel parking.

Nice hotel with friendly & helpful staff. Our room was lovely, clean and nicely appointed. Bathroom had both a bath and shower. Bed and bed linens very comfortable. I would definitely return and/or recommend this hotel to friends and family.

Positives: Locations was excellent. Room up to date and clean, nice use of space.

Negatives: Elevators for parking in a different area than regular elevators.

The service far exceeded all expectations and was located right in the heart of downtown Vancouver. It was close to many restaurants and shops with the harbor right across the street.

Positives: The hotel staff was very friendly and helpful.

Negatives: Rooms were a little small but didn't spend much time in them.

Very friendly staff, efficient check-in, the room I was assigned was excellent, full glass and excellent view, which made my day.

Positives: They put me in an excellent room and view.

Negatives: The Internet fee was one of the highest I've seen.

Room was nice. Amenities were fine. Clean but not pristine. Staff pleasant and helpful. Security poor as people were partying in the hallways and no one stopped it.

Positives: Pleasant room. Good location.

Negatives: Very noisy with people in the hallway all night long.

This hotel exceeded expectations. Fitness room is the best of all hotels I have stayed at. Sauna, steam room, pool, and jacuzzi and more workout machines than usual. Lounge was relaxing and breakfast was very good. I went with some friends who enjoyed themselves and were impressed with this hotel not to mention the price. All in all it was expected of a Marriott property.

Positives: Clean. Convenient location.

Negatives: Bathroom was small but adequate.

We were delightfully surprised at how helpful, polite, and professional the staff was at Marriott Pinnacles in Vancouver. The hotel is located in downtown Vancouver, which has nearly Zilch restaurants that are kid-friendly. On our last night there, the staff offered us a discount at the hotel restaurant, which was plenty comfortable for us and our baby to dine at. One of the concierges was super helpful, recommending a restaurant and a nail SPA place nearby that were superb. The bellboys and doormen were super friendly and kept our 1-yr-old baby entertained wherever we had to wait in the lobby. The bed and pillows were heavenly. We slept so well that we were sad to leave. Very next door to the hotel was the most wonderful cafe I have ever been to - Cafe Artigiano. A couple of the staff were not very friendly; one of them was down right rude, but the food was wonderful, and the coffee was AMAZING. I hadn't had a cup of coffee for about 4 years, and I had 3 mochas while I was there (I haven't had another cup of coffee since we came back from our trip more than a month ago). Overall, it would have been nicer if the hotel had a spa, and if it was located in an area that was more kid friendly, but I would rather travel farther for the kid friendly places and stay here again.

Positives: The staff was friendly, polite, and professional. It was a good on-site restaurant with excellent cafe next door. It had heavenly beds and pillows, and clean and good concierge.

Negatives: There was no spa on site. It is the dead of downtown, so it is not very kid friendly in that respect.
