Positives: Staff were hard working and eager to help with anything. The games room has been renovated and my kids loved it. The managers are in their second summer so they are more on the ball and strict with rowdy customers. The bathrooms and showers were clean and stocked the whole day.
Comments: This is an amazing place to bring your family. We have already booked to come back 3 more times this summer. The playground, games room, and sandy beach were great places for my kids to meet and play with other kids. We rented a rowboat for an afternoon and caught 3 fish! My kids had such a great experience reeling them in. Even though it rained a couple nights the daytime sunshine was warm and made up for the cold nights. We expect July and august to be nicer weather. The road on the way up had a view almost as amazing as the look-out trail hike and was an easy drive even with our 40 foot RV.

Positives: The "tippy dock" for the kids was great... for kids of all ages.
Ice cream and dime-store candy; the kids were back and forth from the store all day.
Negatives: The playground. Newly constructed, not safe for any age.
We made reservations early for the long weekend. Friends had told us that there time at Blue Lake was great & we would enjoy it. The kids had a great time searching for snakes and frogs. The management were new but very pleasant and helpful.
The washrooms are old but kept clean.
