Comments: We stayed at Kilmory 5 years ago and it was a nice clean place then.We stayed there this weekend and the place has gone downhill since. Cobwebs all over the walls everywhere and the windows. Bed sheets are almost see through. Bed was like sleeping outdoors on rocks. Lighting not very good inside. Missing a few rails on the deck which is not good for little kids. Limited supply of dishes. Toaster was not working good. Bathtub & sink all chipped & cracked up. Handles falling off pots. We won't be back anytime soon!!

Positives: Beautiful view, lovely town. The staff were apologetic and quick to meet our requests.
Comments: The cottage we were given had obviously not been cleaned since the previous summer. We had to sweep sand off the floor as soon as we arrived. The bedsheets were threadbare, the bed rickety, the barbeque rusty, the bathtub chipped, etc. The dishes provided were nearly all damaged. We had to drive to the front desk to ask for items that should have been provided - like towels and utensils. I'm sure that the cottage was very nice ten years ago, but it needs a lot of maintenance.

Comments: We planned a family weekend and booked two cabins for 9 people and four kids. When we arrived we were disappointed to find that they had the second cabin rented out to another couple. Three family members were put up in a motel in Clarenville for the first night. They had to travel back and forth all weekend to visit the rest of the family.

Comments: I did not enjoy my stay at the cabin. There was nothing for my children except a playground that was small and out of sight from most cabins. The pool was very inconvenient because we had to walk down wooden steps, along a rocky beach, and up more steps. Friends of ours that also rented a cottage at the same time had a stroller and it was not an easy trek. Probably acceptable for a get away without kids but I will not be staying there again.

Comments: This was a exceptional resort! The staff were incredibly friendly and helpful, the cottages are immaculate and the view is just breath-taking. There wasn't one minute thing to complain about, totally pleasurable and absolutely one my "must-do again" list!
