Positives: I enjoyed my stay, but the WiFi should be free like other hotels.
Negatives: WiFi was very expensive and is free at comparable hotels.
Comments: Nice hotel, but pricey wiFi is a drawback.

Positives: Clean and comfortable rooms in a great location.
Negatives: Room was small and facility currently under construction.
The Bond Place Hotel was perfect for a short (four day) stay in Toronto. My boyfriend and I just wanted something affordable and clean in a good location to access the best parts of the city, and that's exactly what the Bond provided us. I would definitely recommend to younger travelers on a bit of a budget.

Positives: Close to airport shuttle.
Negatives: Beds are too small.
Comments: It was ok for the money.
Thu 07 Jan 2010
Positives: Location was great.
Negatives: Very small rooms.
Comments: Our initial impression of the hotel was that it was in a great location. The lobby was very small and had duct tape on the walls and exposed wiring. The room was very small (2 single beds.) but, clean and nicely updated. We turned on the heat in the room on the way out and when we came back there was a horrible odor. It smelled of skunk.

Positives: Cheap and clean.
Negatives: Under renovation, no fridge in room.
Comments: Great location, good price, clean rooms. For downtown Toronto and located right at Dundas Square, this hotel is very fairly priced and was well-maintained.

Comments: Hotel is completely under construction. Driveway is in shambles. Lobby is non-existent.
Thu 10 Sep 2009
Positives: Convenient location.
Negatives: No free breakfast..
Comments: We have stayed here before and found the location to be excellent, but the rooms very small. No free continental breakfast. It would be good to know if breakfast is offered when booking. Perhaps a certain star level should include a free breakfast as this is very common these days.

Positives: it had an elevator
Negatives: it stank
Comments: very low budget
Fri 08 May 2009
Positives: Great location, clean and nice staff.
Negatives: My fridge didn't work, bed needed breaks.
Comments: My overall stay was great the bed needed breaks as it was on wheels and the floor was wood. As I sat on the bed, it moved over to one end of the room. The room was clean and in a great location.

Positives: Location! 2 Minute walk to Dundas subway station and 3 minutes to the Eaton Center.
Negatives: Elevator was very slow, rooms were outdated and small.
Comments: Great place to stay if you just need a place to sleep as it is a very basic hotel.
Sat 25 Apr 2009
Negatives: Very small room, small beds and no parking.
Wed 15 Apr 2009
Negatives: No internet access for free.
Comments: This hotel was in an excellent location but, the room was small for two double beds and the air conditioner/heater was ancient. Overall it was a place to stay at night and get a good nights sleep. I spent most of the time out in the city and the location could not be beat.
Thu 26 Mar 2009
Positives: Very close to subway and all amenities.
Negatives: Rooms are small.
Comments: Was staying Downtown and working there as well is ten minutes by subway to almost everything around.
Thu 19 Mar 2009
Negatives: Dirty matress.
Comments: The matressess looked dirty and were uncomfortable. Didn't sleep much.
Tue 13 Jan 2009
Positives: I liked its location, cleanliness, and helpfulness of the staff.
Negatives: I would have liked a hotel with a swimming pool and whirlpool bath.
Comments: I liked this hotel because it was within walking distance of many major attractions. The staff is personable and friendly. It is very clean. I also liked the fact that I could park my car in an underground garage and that there was someone on duty in the garage.

Positives: Comfortable, clean, good overall!
Comments: Comfortable, clean, good overall.
Fri 29 Aug 2008
Positives: Nothing. Didnt want to stay. Only reason why we did was because everything else was filled.
Negatives: It was discussing. Air condition didnt work and smelt and bathroom floor was like a pond.
Comments: Worst place I ever stayed.
Fri 29 Aug 2008
Positives: Good location, Clean.
Negatives: Rooms are small, no safes in room.
Comments: Didn't use bar or restaurant as there were lots of places nearby.
Thu 21 Aug 2008
Positives: Location, convenience, easy access to public transportation.
Negatives: Very small room, staff is not helpful, hidden fee.
Thu 14 Aug 2008
Positives: The location and front desk staff was very good.
Negatives: Staff was unfriendly and unhelpful in telephone interactions.
Comments: The rooms are very small, but the location is good. Beware the rooms with two full size beds. The beds are small and yet they still take up most of the room. That is why I would not describe this place as being family friendly. It does the necessary things (service, location, cleanliness) well.
Wed 06 Aug 2008
Positives: Staffs were helpful.
Negatives: Small space, outdated everything, not enough towels given.
Comments: The hotel said that it was recently renovated. I don't see anything new in this hotel. The room that was given to us had two single beds and we could barely walk around. I asked for an upgrade that cost $30.00 more. It had more room but the beds were uncomfortable. Not enough towels per room and they had hair allover them. At least the location was great.
Tue 05 Aug 2008
Positives: Its location was good handy to get around Toronto from hotel.
Negatives: Around the outside of hotel not clean, hallways way to hot.
Comments: I preferred the Delta Chelsea for space and friendly staff.
Sat 02 Aug 2008
Positives: Location and it was clean.
Negatives: Tiny rooms.
Comments: The good things about this hotel are:- It's got a great location. Parking is only 15$ for 24 hours, the cheapest I've ever seen in Toronto. The 2 single beds were about 2 feet apart, one up against the AC and the other against the wall. If you've ever gone on a cruise, the rooms at this hotel are about the same size as an interior stateroom. The staff was friendly enough, the prices at the little restaurant were pretty steep, and they don't air condition the hallways to the rooms. If I were going to Toronto again, and didn't mind sleeping in a foot-dangling single bed, I would definitely stay at Bond Place again.
Sat 19 Jul 2008
Positives: I liked that the hotel came with a rest and lounge.
Negatives: The lounge could have been opened a little later.
Comments: I enjoyed my stay at Bond Hotel. The hotel was clean and neat and the staff was pleasant. The hotel was also located within walking distance to many attractions and sites. I would recommend this hotel to everyone.
Thu 17 Jul 2008
Negatives: Small uncomfortable rooms.
Comments: My wife and I had 2 separate beds. Very small very hard and uncomfortable. The room was hot and air-conditioning was poor during hot summer days. No one to take luggage. Received only 1 room key.
