Fantastic hotel in the heart of the city at a great price. Friendly helpful staff I will be using this hotel again.

We had a beautiful room which had recently been update. Large and spacious for my 3 friends and I. Quite hotel with no noise or rowdiness in the hallways. We were able to walk to all the restaurants we wanted to go to.
Positives: The fact that breakfast is included is a real plus. And the quality of the breakfast is really good.
Negatives: At first they told us there was no parking and we would have to use a parking meter.

Very clean, nice hotel. The rooms were well equipped with a full kitchen which is great!
Positives: Very nice hotel. Clean and had everything we needed.
Negatives: Very loud. Located next to a buzzy bar with loud music and a lot of partying outside our room. Partying in the hotel also.

I personally didn't get to see much of it.
Positives: Very spacious and clean. Had a kitchen, water was drinkable.
Negatives: Across from bars, racing traffic and street noise until very late.

Just lovely. Would stay there again. There was a lot of noise when bars got out. Really liked the idea of numbered parking spots for the room so you always knew your spot was available.
Positives: Could prepare full meals in room.

Very central location close to most clubs and restaurants. Rooms were very clean and comfortable. Staff was very friendly. Good for business travelers and families. All in all, good value for the money and I would definitely stay again.
Positives: Very nice kitchenette, very central to all clubs and restaurants.
Negatives: The buffet breakfast was not very good. Difficult to park car in the tiny spaces provided.

This is a beautiful hotel, unfortunately I was unable to get a good night sleep due to the noise on the street. I had to awake for an interview/training event at 6am and was unable to sleep until the bar down the street closed at 2. The staff was aware of the annoyance to guests but were unable to remedy the situation.
Positives: Nice room.
Negatives: The bar down the street that played loud music until 2am and kept me awake all night even after the hotel staff called the police on them.

Roomy, clean, friendly with access to refreshments 24/7. Lacks natural decor i.e. plants, flowers and pool and it did not have a restaurant attached. Did not like the idea of having to pay for parking $19 a night. Less than desirable neighborhood.
Positives: Clean, friendly, convenient. Breakfast was included in the price.
Negatives: Lack of greeneries and flowers both inside and outside.

Arrived early, however, our room was ready and we were able to check-in. The front desk staff was professional and friendly. Was very surprised by the room size. Extremely clean and decorated tastefully. Would love to stay there again.

Very good and convenient to downtown attractions, staff great, comfortable and home like would highly recommend.
Positives: Location, breakfast, cleanliness.
Negatives: Sunday breakfast, very crowded, staff had hard time keeping up with food.

I was pleasantly surprised by this hotel, which I didn't even know existed in Halifax. The location was great, the staff was friendly, and the room was spacious, clean, well maintained. The complimentary breakfast with hot items was a bonus too. It all the conveniences we needed and met all of our expectations.
Positives: Spacious, clean, well maintained, and conveniently located. A complimentary breakfast that included hot items.
Negatives: Was a bit noisy due to the room being located across the street from a popular pub.

I really enjoyed my stay. The staff was extremely friendly and helpful. The hotel was spotless in the lobby and my room and the hot buffet breakfast was very well prepared.
Positives: Very friendly staff and very clean and spacious rooms.
Negatives: $20.00 a night parking fee.

This was a great hotel with a full size fridge, microwave, dishwasher, etc.
Positives: It was located centrally in the Downtown Core.
Negatives: The parking was very small so we had a hard time getting my van out in the Morning.

Over all it was nice, not easy to park, Parkade was full, we had to park out in a fenced area which was very hard to fit a truck.
Positives: It was a clean room and very spacious.
Negatives: We were woken up buy a large ringing in the wall at. 1AM

This hotel has a very friendly and helpful staff, comfortable and spacious suites with everything that you would need in the kitchenette, plus an awesome breakfast and not bad little baby fitness room but the noise down on the street from the drunks as they get there pizza after the bars get out make me not want to stay there. But what can you do?
Positives: Spacious, comfortable suites, yummy breakfast. Great staff.
Negatives: Bad location between bars and pizza corner hard to sleep on the weekends, noisy.

The Residence Inn located in downtown Halifax, NS is a well appointed hotel within walking distance on all major venues in Halifax. The rooms are spacious and comfortable. The continental breakfast was great. My son and I enjoyed our stay.
Positives: I really enjoyed the room layout and the central location.
Negatives: There wasn't anything I did not like.

2 times we had staff from hotel walk into room while we were staying there. Very unprofessional.

Hotel was very conveniently located downtown, friendly, clean and excellent very adequate complimentary breakfast with lots of choice.
Positives: Lovely spacious well equipped room.
Negatives: Unwilling to accommodate our travel plans which changed due to weather.
