Bay Wolf Camp is a cottage located in Shining Tree.
Bay Wolf Camp is located on West Shiningtree Lake. The lake has over 8 miles of water and 40 miles of shoreline. With dozens of islands, bays and channels, it provides excellent fishing.
To give our guests even more fishing oportunities, we keep boats on 9 other lakes, and provide fishing for walleye, northern pike, smallmouth bass, trout, perch, and whitefish.
Our fishing packages include your accommodations, boats & motors on ten lakes, all outboard gas & oil, bait, boating accessories, and all taxes.

Positives: Staff, different lakes, boats, lodging.
Negatives: Not the greates fishing.
Comments: After seeing the positive rating (slightly high) and the negative rating (too low) I thought I would give my rating. Al and Wendy are great people. They will do anything to make your stay a good one. That is the primary reason I am going back this year. The only deduction comes because of not being real good on puting us on fish. Cabins are clean and comfortable. Location is a little far but easy to find and all paved roads. The fishing is not the greatest for canada. You will have to work for them. You do have access to other lake which is a lot of fun. If you know how to fish you will catch all the fish you can eat and take home. I have been on other lakes and if the fish are not biting you have no place else to go. Here you have options. The price is hard to beat. Most lodges charge for just the boat and motor Vs the entire stay here. So you have to weigh the options. Better fishing + higher price. Not as good = lower price.

Positives: Cabins were nice and so was boat
Negatives: Owners don't know much about fishing except for bass.I would not come back for a second trip. Portages were nothing like what owner told us and the fishing stunk on half of them.
Comments: Camp was good but to far in the boon docks. The fishing stunk with not much vegation for the fish. I was really amazed that I saw nolocals fishing on this lake and the other camp on shining tree was dead. Don"t waste your money coming to shining tree.
