Negatives: Loud, over crowded, too much alcohol related partying, petting zoo has only 2 animals(a cow & a pig), costs extra to use pool and slide, which looks quite old and run down.

Comments: Arrived at this campground around 7:30pm after a 12 hour drive in a rental RV with our 9 year old son - his very first camping experience. We had booked a 3 night stay approximately 1 month before. It was quite noisy, crowded and not very clean. We were awakened at 2am to loud, obscene drunken neighbours. The language we heard that night was absolutely disgraceful for young men and women with their own small children in their campers. This continued and became progressively louder until almost 5am. Our son was afraid and we tried to explain to him that not all campgrounds are like this and in the morning we would find another site. We ended up staying up all night and first thing in the morning we went to the main office where we were told that it wasn't that bad by a very ignorant staff person. We received a refund for the 2 nights we didn't stay, but not for the night we spent listening to loud obscenities all night long!! It ruined the first few days of our vacation and unless you leaving your children to party all night, I would not recommend Funland Resort to my worst enemy. It is far from Funland - not for families with children anyways. The staff and management could use a few lessons in manners and respect.

Comments: Suppose to stay for two nights at this resort, when we arrived to check in we were informed by the unfriendly staff that the waterslide was not working due to a electrical outage that occurred a week prior to our arrival. We were really disappointed that no one informed us that the slide was out of service (just very poor customer service). We had to then drive 30 minutes out of to find another water park. Came back to check in afterwards to find they only had one BBQ rental left that didn't work and we had to persuade them to give us another one. Then only two of the burners worked on the stove, and the fridge only the freezer part worked not the bottom part of the fridge we had to threw out a lot of spoiled food in the morning. Because of all of this we went to the office and requested a refund on our second night they weren't going to do at first but after a while chatting with them they did. It certainly wasn't a good start to our holidays.
