I will not return. Paid way too much for the quality of this hotel.

Positives: Clean

Negatives: No hot water, and in a poor location also quite noisy as there was a nightclub in the building.

Ramada Inn ( Downtown )

Pleasant staff, but sketchy neighborhood...will not stay there again for any price.

Positives: Not much.

Negatives: Hard to find by car, no notice of a need to drive down an unmarked alley to park, unsecured parking lot, rooms a long way from elevator.

The hotel itself was older, but was very clean and surprisingly quiet considering the area.

Positives: Because I arrive late, if I needed I would be provided with a later check out.

Negatives: Close to undesirable night life.

The only thing I can say nice about this location was the staff was very friendly and tried to assure us the area was safe. Did not feel safe in the area or the parking lot outside the building in an alley.

Positives: Staff was very accommodating

Negatives: Terrible location, parking was an issue,

Very friendly, clean, and a great location.

Positives: The beds were very comfortable and it was located in the heart of downtown fun.

Negatives: The room was a bit small, but we had enough space.

Ramada Inn ( Downtown )

The hotel was nice as it could be being an old building, the hallway (floor 2) was very creaky and made you feel unsure it could support much weight. The air conditioner in my room did not work, but the room was clean and modern. A parking fee of 15.00 per day was added to my bill that I wasn't aware of during booking.

Positives: The location to my activities.

Negatives: My air conditioner did not work. The hall floors creeked alot.

This establishment is a pathetic excuse for a hotel. We had booked a room that has the capacity for 4 people, but when we got to the hotel, they gave us a room with a double bed. When requesting a different room, the staff was extremely rude and told us we were out of luck because they were all booked up. So one of us had to sleep on the gross floor. The room was very shabby and cheaply renovated. The fan from the bathroom went directly into the bedroom and there was no way to open the window. Despite all of this, we were hoping to get a good nights sleep at least. We got back to the hotel room to have the floor and walls vibrate from the music coming from the pub below us. The music went on until 3am. My overall experience at the Ramada was extremely disappointing, and I would not recommend this hotel to anyone.

Positives: Location, somewhat.

Negatives: Too many negatives to list.

Ramada Inn ( Downtown )

This hotel offered good value, particularly for the young-minded traveler who wishes to spend money on entertainment not 5 star amenities. Would not recommend to families with young children who expect to go to sleep early and get a good nights sleep. The staff was friendly and generally helpful. Hotel parking was considerably limited.
Positives: Hotel room had nice bathroom and had recently been renovated.

Negatives: Very loud at night due to nightclub at street level, plus ongoing renovations in hotel were negative aspects of the stay.

Positives: Left extra coffee when I asked for it.

Negatives: People in bars outside quite noisy at night.

Rooms were small, but fine. Nothing special, but a perfectly good place to sleep.

Positives: Great views from the 6th floor.

Negatives: The neighborhood is a bit sketchy, especially at night.

Lobby and hallways were a bit shabby, but room was in good condition. Free
WiFi was speedy and easy to access. Everything was great until Friday night, when the club downstairs played dance music until 2
am that could be clearly heard in my 3rd-floor room. Not good when you have a 6
am wake-up.

Positives: Great price, comfortable room, free WiFi.

Negatives: Dance club downstairs played loud music all night Friday.

The public spaces need a makeover; a slight smell, unreliable lifts and entry card system. Room was
OK, but it's in the nightlife area so can get noisy at night. Street being under repair doesn't help.

Positives: Central.

Negatives: Needs a makeover.

Hotel has a bad lift and very bad staircase. Rooms are ok. We had an overall ok exp, but very worried about car cause of parking. We haven't used car much as where ever u go in downtown needs parking. Convenient for all restaurants and had many food choices. Staff is ok. Room maintenance is also ok. Don't expect too much then you can be happy. Internet is ok in 5th floor and worst in 6th floor. If you are a net bug don't goto 6th floor.

Positives: Convenient place for ones who don't have a vehicle.

Negatives: Parking in outdoor and no security, but finally not bad.

It’s not a whole bad hotel to stay but you need a little more room in the room to move around and stuff.

Positives: Bathroom was functional. TV had necessary channels.

Negatives: Room was way too small. TV channel reception was bad.

Positives: Nothing.

Negatives: Everything.

Ramada Inn ( Downtown )

This hotel had a very dated look, bad smell, and was not very clean. There was trash between the nightstand and the wall, cigarette burns in the tub, no conditioner in the bathroom, bad lighting, very little space, stains on the bedding, and to top it all off, the room next to a night club that was extremely loud! We were not able to sleep on Thursday night.

Positives: Location was ok, staff was friendly and able to direct us to many things walk able. Maybe ok for people who do not like to sleep.

Negatives: Extremely noisy on Thursday night!

Nice clean room, recently remodeled. The room was very small. Good room if you are only sleeping there. If spending much time in the room it might be annoying. Not a beautiful neighborhood, but we walked back to the hotel after dark and had no problems.

Positives: Clean room.

Negatives: Small room.

This hotel is the best place for a gang of young people (18 - 35), to be in downtown, have a night in the bar and get a low rated night. If you're drunk, you will not remark that there is no noise cancellation in the wall of the hotel. The hotel, smell very bad in the corridor. You will heard young drunk people speak loud during the night and you will probably heard the street noise if you are in a room in the front of the hotel. I probably rate this hotel 310 for a family trip or business trip, but for the price, I will rate it 910 for young people that want to go in the bar and only have a room to sleep afar!

Positives: Good emplacement in downtown Vancouver.

Negatives: It smell very bad in the corridor of the room.

It was in the heart of Van Downtown, but in the midnight, there was a big noise that made all of us to wake up and the little one to cry. It ruined our night and next day. It seemed that the noise was from the next door (a bar probably) and it seemed that it will be continued for next couple of nights.

Positives: NA.

Negatives: Big noise in the midnight that wakes you and your family up and makes your younger children to cry. It ruins your holiday.

Desk staff are more interested in discussing their social lives with each other than dealing with guests, also do not visit if you do not like to hear "prime" language. The room that we had was disgusting, but we were told it was their last room - The room was dirty and smelled awful - cigarette ash on the floor amongst "other things" under the bed. Parking is a joke - It is an alleyway beside the Hotel with limited parking, for which they charge you $15 per night - if you can indeed get a space, as it seems that staff also choose to park there. Area feels unsafe and generally run down. Consider another Hotel for Vancouver.

Positives: Bar connected to the Hotel is tidy and friendly.

Negatives: Hotel room was small, dirty and smelled stale - view of the fire escape.

It was a very good hotel.

Positives: It was very well kept. Management seemed to be on top of things.

Negatives: It was not the best part of town. We have a 7 month old son and there were "peep shows" for 25 cents just 1/2 a block away.

Except for the place of the hotel, it was a tiny but clean hotel. I found most staff friendly and helpful. As I said for my stay, where I needed the room just to sleep it was ok. Something else that might be bothering, there is a night club just under the hotel that is open till 3 am Fridays and Saturdays. So if you need to rest during this period you may ask for a room away from front street or in higher levels.

Positives: The staff was friendly. Small but clean room.

Negatives: The hotel was located in poor neighborhood with lots of homeless begging all the time.

I don't think I have had better customer service anywhere. The staff was friendly and accommodating. Unfortunately, the room was so miserably small I could not even fit my bags in properly. I would not choose to stay again because of this.
