Comments: I thought the hotel was ok. Most Yarmouth hotels cater to families and tourists in summer traveling from Nova Scotia to Maine and vice versa. I was not too thrilled with the town, was told by some people from Barrington and Dig by that it was an interesting city to go shopping in downtown. I was not impressed. There is not even a university here and the hospital does not offer the services that you get in Halifax). I was told the town would be cultivating and diverse but feels like the end of the world. So remote from everywhere else, 100s miles and so hard to get anywhere too and from it. It is a reasonable place for an odd alcoholic to live where the cost of living is low and where winds blow onshore, few good places to eat or fascinating things to see.
