Comments: After visiting this campground, I find that the advertised promotion is overstated and misleading. The road leading into this site is one of the worst maintained gravel roads I have travelled. The washboard is bad enough to reduce speed to 10 miles an hour. For a 9 mile road in, do the math. I had booked a return visit, however after arriving I did not want to suffer my motorhome to any more abuse. I wanted to cancel my return reservation, however my receipt was stamped in 1" high red capital letters - NO REFUNDS. OK. Then I was asked if I had a campground permit, which I did not. and so there was the extra charged insult. On the window is a sign stating that abusive language will not be tolerated. After inviting that response, no wonder the sign. The campsite is marginally suitable, but nowhere near the lake. The rentable lots are where the boat trailers are parked. And the lake? I suppose it would be swimable if one were to forge through the foamy shore into the brown water. I wouldn't. I have been to many campgrounds, and I would never recommmend this place to anyone.
