Positives: - Child-friendly campground has heated pool, nice playground
- Washrooms were easily accessible and reasonably clean
- Nice location, close to the beach
Negatives: - Customer service was very poor
- Very hard to get a hold of the owners by email
Comments: What started as a good camping experience was soured by terrible customer service! Our group consisting of 5 couples with kids was camping on the group site called "Woods". In the evening of our second day of camping a huge branch came off a tree and hit one of the guys, injuring him (bad scrapes down his back, black eye, he also hit his chin and nose on a picnic table due to the impact) and scaring his two little boys, who were sitting just inches away. Thankfully we had a medically trained person in our group who assessed his injuries and said that there were no broken bones or any internal bleeding. We went to tell about the incident to the manager of the camp, and were surprised to see the lack of concern. Not only the manager acted like the whole incident wasn't a big deal - he even had a chuckle at what happened - but he also didn't offer any apology. We, as a group, were really disappointed. Even though it is a nice campground, I probably won't recommend it to my friends, you never know what might happen and what kind of treatment you might receive.
