Positives: Nice campsite overlooked water
Negatives: Dirty, unkept washrooms, plugged toilets, no TP
Store never open for ice etc..
Beach could use a few loads of sand
NO ACTUAL boat launch, no docks
Comments: The bathrooms are unkept, plugged toilets, NO toilet paper. We were charged almost $100 to park our car. Not good for future business. We were told we couldn't have 2 vehicles on one lot. We could have parked at the entrance, but they are clearly only interested in MONEY. The park was mostly empty. We were quiet, mostly in bed before 11pm. The store was never open when we wanted to get ice. A nice area, campsites overlooking the water. An awesome place for the right owners. Looks very trashy upon entering. Signs are decrepid. Bathrooms need an overhaul. Otherwise, a quiet wkd with family we had a good time. No real boatlaunch as they advertise on OPCA, you drag your boat over the grass in to the water and hope you can hop in and push off. Also when they are a member they state on OPCA that their facilities are clean and tidy. As I stated their washrooms were not maintained AT ALL. Bring your own TP. Too bad could be an awesome business.

Positives: scenic peaceful
It is too bad the only people that leave reviews are the ones that were problem people. The rules in the park are for people’s safety and for the enjoyment of all. Unfortunately sometimes campers enter the park and when they are being disrespectful to others and then when told of it become more of a problem and when they are forced to leave of course there are not going to leave a good review
The rules are clearly posted in the office on the form you sign you have read the rules, and as an owner I wish I had the time to spy on the campers I am normally too busy, but if people complain I have to go see what I can do so everyone can have an enjoyable time. And when it becomes such a problem that police are called because we are being threaten, and then they start threating the police “because THEY are holidays and should be able to do what they want” Sorry if you cannot follow the simple rules and are causing a disturbance you have to leave the park.
The next day I had several campers thank us from moving the problem and everyone went on to have a good time that weekend

Negatives: The owners
Comments: I agree with previous negative reviews. We had a horrible experience there involving the owners. Several other campers came by our site and shared similar problems & complaints about the owners. Beware.

Positives: looking back when I left. Brought a big smile to my face!
Negatives: The owners
Comments: From the moment you walk in to the minute you leave you will be contently harassed, yelled at, lied to, accused of breaking rules (they just seem to make up while they talk to you). They spy around corners watching you! Hoping to find you do something they don’t like. We now know that they will push you out and keep your money (with a smile on their face) only to re-book your site to someone else to make double the money. They will do what they can to upset you because they are unhappy in life and are fighting amongst themselves. The worst hospitality I and many others have ever experienced in our life! Campers Beware! Stay away from this nightmare!!! DLL22

Comments: Absolutly HORRIBLE staff, so rude. Would not recommend.

Comments: It was rediculas, horrible! They were on our ass the minute we got there! we had the best sites along the water, 5 sites in a row of my family, and they kicked us out because we swam at night, we were never told we couldn't and there were no signs regarding this. They also came at 1:30 at night asking us to move our vehicles, they said someone came by numerous times telling us to move them and that never happened, and at that time all the adults were too intoxicated to drive, and they were making us do it anyway because he said its his property and he didn't care. One thing after the other, DO NOT STAY HERE!

Positives: Nice swimming area.
Negatives: Horrible "hospitality" from owners and their extremely rude staff. Awful washroom/shower facilities.
Comments: Nice enough property/sites.

Positives: It is a pretty piece of property and the lake is nice.
Negatives: The owners are stereotypical ignorant, racist hillbillies.
Comments: Constant harassment by owners and staff who simply change/make up rules depending on their mood - likely because they are bored with nothing better to do. I would not recommend this park to anyone.
