Negatives: people who talk shit on here becasue they are not happy with them selfs
Comments: i would say this camp ground if awsome. its a real family campground. when i frist came to the camp ground. a older lady greeded us and her son took care of us. even taking us to our camp site. everyone in the camp who are there all season are very nice and very help full. the owner made sure that everyone was quite by 11 i mean people still had fires going and where talking but no bands or what ever loud noise. it was a small walk to the beach. which was very nice and kinda busy but it was nice to see people having fun surfers out surfing. i mean there was a camp ground up the street and its on a hwy..

WoW - some bad reviews - hkmmmm - I'm a "regular" and what a rockin place that protects their regulars - it is a recession - and good business practice is to keep the paying customers in.
This place is great. Ya the beach has a couple of dead fish - they live in the lake and when they die they sometimes wash on shore - big deal. And it doesn’t stink - I have been there plenty of times and the beach is not stinky.
Also the place is VERY clean. It may not Look fancy - but it is clean. The lady is there to clean the washrooms everyday.
The place is operated by family who all pitch in to keep it going. It's camping - not the Ritz. But the essentials are well provided for and definitely clean.
It may get noisy at times - but it's summer - up north is quite and silent voices carry easy - so no - if your a tight ass - you shouldn't come here - you should probably stay home and turn down the TV.
You have freedom here with reason. No one hassles you. You truly feel at home, and the neighbors are a bit close - but it's not a huge campground - its meant for the beach.
If you get over your initial shyness - you find a great community there with people who are willing to give an outstretched hand in help, say good morning to you, bring you wayward dog back cause he got away again.
If you want to have a good time. Have peace - no one bothering you, friendly staff and neighbors, and NO ONE HASSALING YOU - this is your oasis a very short distance from home
And PS - I can't believe you got a couple of nights free - you shouldn't have even gotten that - and you get what you pay for - his prices are reasonable - the other ground up there is triple the price - but people are alive after 11pm there to.

Comments: My husband and I are avid campers and although we couldn't find many reviews on this property, we decided to "wing it". Big mistake. I'll cut right to the chase...you are literally ON TOP of your neighboring tenters...the bathrooms/showers are disgusting.....the management is a joke. Everywhere you look, you can see there are signs that say "11:00 is quiet time....this is a family campground....noise will not be tolerated"...so we expected it would be fairly quiet after 11 or so (and even if people stay up partying until 1:00...hey, it's all good). NOT SO...there was a group of 10 people on one side of us that hollered, laughed, hooted and screamed until at least 3 am, but even if they weren't there, we would have been awake anyway. On the other side of us there was a group of about 20 kids that rolled in at about 11:00 pm and proceeded to get completely bombed out of their minds. They brought guitars and bongos and proceeded to have a full out bash. Sceaming the same songs over and over and over until 6:00 o'clock in the morning!!! As you can imagine, we were almost insane . We went to management as we were supposed to be there all weekend and couldn't bear another night of that. Everyone around us was infuriated and also ready to leave. In a nutshell, there is no security, no quiet time, no rules and to top it off management opted for all of the other campers to pack up and go home and allow the party group to stay citing "they are regulars and we don't want to lose their business". Lastly, the beach had great potential if you can get beyond the smell of sewer and DEAD FISH lined up along the shore everywhere you look. They gave us 2 free nights as they would NOT give us our money back. We threw them in the garbage. Stay far far away from this campground unless you want to get wasted and act like a complete maniac, in which case, you'll love it.
