Located on beautiful, sandy MacKenzie Beach on the west coast of Vancouver Island, Bella Pacifica Campground is the destination of choice for families visiting Tofino, Long Beach and Pacific Rim National Park. Our private oceanfront and wilderness setting enables you to experience the wonder of the Old Growth forests and the pristine beaches famous to the area.
We are open from February 9th through to November 12th and have a variety of camping and R.V sites, each with their own picnic table and firepit. Advance reservations are required for summer camping and are recommended throughout the season.
For your convenience the on site facilities include 3 clean and spacious washroom buildings with flush toilets and pay showers. There are also laundry facilities, public pay phones and both ice and firewood are available for purchase at the Campground Office. Our family focus enables us to offer a quiet time from 10:00pm to 8:00am and Management lives on site in case of any emergencies. All dogs are welcome but must be kept on a leash at all times.

Positives: The campsite has spectacular views. There are some sites that are right next to the beach, and even the sites at the back of the campsite are only a 2 minute walk.
Negatives: The staff are rude and unhelpful.
If, for $55 per night (for a tent site), you expect clean bathrooms and warm showers, this is NOT the campsite for you. Bathrooms are old, tired and dirty, showers are awful (horrible pressure and cold water), fire pits are not cleaned out, and fire wood is expensive.
Comments: Tofino is a beautiful location and I highly recommend it. This campsite is in serious need of an upgrade.
