The one and only thing i found good about this campground was the location. A location that close the river was great, however, it is definately overpriced at $35 per night, sites were a decent size, but we do have a small trailer. 98% percent of the staff were great, i would say the manager has an authority issue because he sure likes to throw it around. I understand rules are rules and we did abide by them, but to come into our site randomly and constantly remind us that if we didn't abide by them we would be asked to leave and a lifelong ban,, come on that is just ridiculous. The entire site did run out of water as well on the saturday afternoon into the late evening, so much for showers and bathroom,, which were locked at night and not open till 7 A.M. i personally don't think they are a family orientated site. If your a seasonal renter there, you are catered to, but the weekenders..thanks for you money, now hurry up and leave...I would not recommend this campground to anyone looking to relax and have a family weekend..
Positives: Alot of the staff were amazing, checking in with us and helping if we needed it. Playground area was great for the kids but not very central..
Negatives: Manager with a chip on his shoulder, the fact the gate is locked at night, so no one in or out.. Thankfully there was no emergency this weekend as the security guard went to make his rounds i mean his visit,, who knew where he was or how long he would be gone..
Insufficient water and paying $35 a night for the use of a port a pottie after a certain time is absolutely crazy
