Positives: Great family place, has pool, playground, horseshoe pit, basketball etc
Negatives: Close to the train track, but we get used to it quickly and it didn't really bother us much
Comments: Very friendly and helpful staff, very secure, quiet, clean, nice spot beside the river. Well maintained. Laundry facilities and public bathrooms are always clean and spotless. Great spot for fly fishing! Loved having the river so close. We'll be back!

Did I really stay at the same place as the guests who wrote bad reviews about this campground? Hard to believe, there must be another lost lemon campground in the area;-)
I Intended to stay for 4 nights but in the end I enjoyed the place for 2 weeks. And there are many good reasons for that.
The campground ist the perfect gateway for day trips in this beautiful area. Especially, but not only, for flyfishers. Famous trout rivers like the Crowsnest, Oldman, Livingstone, Castle and the Elk are in easy driving distance. The nice town of Fernie ist just over the pass and even the Waterton NP ist just a little bit more than an hour away.
The owners are friendly and helpful. The whole place is very well maintained. Pool, hottub, laundry, bathroom and showers - everything is very clean. All my expectations were more than met - nothing to complain about. One of the owners told me the other day, that more than 60% of their guests did stay at the campground before. This speaks for itself!
The setting along the beautiful Crowsnest river and with mountain views ist nice. Once in while, a train goes by and makes some noise. That didn’t bother me. Besides that it’s a very calm and quiet place.
The rules all make sense to me. They ensure that the campground ist there to enjoy for all the visitors - not only for the few who do whatever they want. There seem to be people who don’t like it, when the rules are enforced by the owners. But what’s the point of rules, if nobody cares?
I stayed in one of the two rustic cabins. From the outside they look a bit old, but inside they are very cozy and clean. The cabin was perfectly equipped: kitchen, shower, WiFi, TV, coffe maker and more.
If you want to leave the crowds behind and breathe fresh mountain air, without missing the amenities of modern life, then this is the place for you. I will certainly come back!

Positives: Cleanliness, smoothly run, swimming pool, close to Blairmore and nearby attractions, the Crowsnest River runs along side of it, and more......
Negatives: The only thing I can think of off hand is the train that runs nearby all hours of day & night. However, after the first night, it seemed to go unnoticed.
Our family stayed at Lost Lemon Campground for five days. Although my husband had stayed there previously, for the rest of us, it was our first time. We will definatly be back, and when we do it will be for a longer period of time.
I have never experienced such a clean ( and I mean clean!) campground. It is run by two very hard working people and it shows. Thanks to Marianne and Roland for such a great few days.

Grounds & buildings are clean, neat, organized & spotless.
Central to many activities in the area.
Negatives: Some may not appreciate the train that goes by-we loved it.
We stayed here Aug.2012 for the 1st time. Was the campground as good as the pictures-A Resounding Yes! The owners were friendly, accommodating & helpful. Their hard work shows in the campground & it's facilities-Very clean, organized & spotless.
We loved the pool, playing in the creek, using the walking paths leading from the campground and waving at the train when it went by.
Lost Lemon is in a great location to do many day trips from as well. There is so much to see & do from here in the area.
We are counting down to our visit summer 2013!

Positives: S. TThe swimming pool, bathrooms, hottub, laundry room are kept spotless - garbage containers are cleaned up everyday..... We like the fact that shopping is so handy. My husband says "where else can you fly fish right beside your 5th wheel" We highly recommend this campground.
Comments: My husband and I have stayed at the Lost Lemon Campground for the last 16 summers and thoroughly enjoyed our time there. My husband likes to flyfish and we enjoy the golf. The campground is run very efficiently - the owners treat you very good and are very helpful informing us of events taking place in the area. This is a great campsite for families. The campground is well kept and upgrades and improvements are always being done.

Positives: it is clean
Negatives: where do i begin, roode owners the noise of a train going by every 15 mon, & chieldish rules, & it's right beside a metal junk yeard, very small campsites try to back a fifth weel camper in there.
Comments: we wur very disepointed at lost lemon, very small campsites , a train goes by every 15 min,the 2 night at about midnight 5 train in a row & quit time is at 11?,very ruid owners ,we had two 11 year old boys with us , we put up a 2 man tent on our campsite ,they wonted us to take it down they claimed they did;nt know where the water lines & gas wure , we did not take down the tent we just took out the pegs , the second day she again demanded we take down the tent i told her we took out the pegs , then she said they charge $10 dollars extra a night for a tent,i think we sould be able to put up a tent as long as you stay on youre site, we have never had a problom with it,ever,it's just a money groubing campsite , would i ever go to lost lemon again?NO,but you can if you like beeing squished like sardens a train going by youre camp site every 15 min they roodest people ever running a campsite, & its very expencive for what you get.

Comments: Campsites are cramed in together - I took a tape measure - there is only 8 feet of grass between the campsites! The owners just walked into our campsite whenever they felt like it - no privacy. Don't bring your pets unless they are constantly on a 6 foot leash. Train tracks are a stones throw from the campground, with train traffic at all hours. Beautiful view of Sobey's, Scotiabank & the Bargin Store from your campsite. Terrible policy of paying for the campsite if you don't cancel within 7 days of your stay. I had to cancel one site at the last minute & they re-rented out the site. I could understand if they could not rent out the site - however - being a long weekend, there was no shortage of campers. No mention, or even offer of a refund or partial refund. Poor customer relationship.

Comments: The owners are rude and unreasonable. The sites are extremely small but the fees are high. Worst camping experience I have ever had. Hard to understand this RV Park is still in business.

Comments: We have had the pleasure of staying at the Lost Lemon Campground several times over the past three years. It is very clean and rules that are in place are there to ensure that everyone has a great camping experience. The sites are close together but we have never found this a problem. Trains go through two or three times a day - there are a few nite trains - but they come and go quickly. The owners are very friendly and helpful. We will be sure to return!!

I reserved over the phone with the female owner after an online reservation. She did not disclose her cancellation policy (7 days notice of cancellation or full amount charged, NO REFUNDS) at the time of the phone call. I reserved with a credit card.
We had to cancel due to rain during the time of our trip. We were tenting at the time and chose not to travel to the area due to the poor weather.
She still charged us the full amount with no regards for our concerns whatsoever.
