Positives: The campsites are very nice
Negatives: Facility has definitley gone downhill since the new owners have taken over. Very unmaintained!
My husband and I stayed here 2 years ago (July 20, 2010) for a week and absolutely loved it. We were SO happy with the facilities and the area. The bathrooms were immaculate - Very Clean and well stocked with toiletries.
We just stayed there last weekend, as a friend of ours got married just down the road. We were so unhappy with the way the facility was, apparently there are new owners, who have their children running the place. We stayed in a cabin, when we walked in, we saw there was no bedding...We are from Fort McMurray, AB...when I booked it, about a month ago, I was not told to bring my own bedding! Thankfully, friends of ours helped us out. The cabin was very dirty with dead bugs and moths everywhere...Not what I would pay $140 a night for!! The bathrooms were disgusting!! The womans washroom had clearly not been cleaned in the 2 days we were there, the showers were covered in mud, garbages piling over onto the floor, no toilet paper or paper towel..AND the water was so nasty, we brushed our teeth with bottled water...the stench of rotten eggs was so unbearable!!! I wanted to talk to the owners about our stay, but their daughter, about 8 or 9, refused to get her parents. Very unhappy and really don't recommend it. If it weren't for the wedding, we would have gone someplace else!

Comments: We had a small family reunion camping trip. The facilities were impeccable, REAL BATHROOMS with full 3 peice and privacy, 4 each for mens and ladies, beautiful scenery and trails, walking distance to the beach and stores. Overall we had a blast and would recommend this facility to anyone who enjoys the great outdoors while maintain some semblance of home. Enjoy!!!
